People often think that “translating” is simply a matter of exchanging words from one language to another; even the Italian language dictionary gives this definition for “translating”. Those who understand languages, and those who work in this field are fully aware that not all language companies are really capable to provide efficient services in translating from one language to another. What do we mean?

For us, translating really means being able to translate not only the words but also the concepts expressed in one language into another language. You must therefore, be able, to fully understand the intrinsic meaning of any text. Furthermore, it is even more difficult, to fully translate your text without loosing its meaning or “essence”.

Here, at Languages International, we also work to apply professional standards, which is set at the International level. We only use translators who translate your document or text working from their mother tongue to insure you excellent service. We also, use only those, who are trained in their specialized fields. Before we return your translated text to you, it is carefully revised by someone on our staff who is specialized in this field.

	If the text has more than 10% to be revised then upon prior authorisation of the client, the cost for a full translation will be applied.

Urgent translations	Surcharge of 35% of the price for every computer page.
Legal texts	Surcharge of 10% of the price for every computer page.
Medical texts	Surcharge of 10% of the price for every computer page.
Highly technical text	Surcharge of 10% of the price for every computer page.
Advertising text	Surcharge of 10% of the price for every computer page.
Computer science texts	Surcharge of 10% of the price for every computer page.
Between 2 foreign languages	An estimate must be given

General terms and conditions
Delivery	The translated documents will be printed on paper and saved on floppy disk which we shall give to the client
Collection and Delivery	Collection of the document to be translated and the delivery of the ensuing translation can be via fax, e-mail or special courier. For collection or delivery by hand our offices are in Via Macaggi 23/13- 16121 Genoa. Upon request we can collect and deliver from your premises (only in the Genoa area)
Invoicing	On delivery of translation or a monthly instalment for large volume jobs
Payment	Upon receipt of invoice
